Hawthorne-Longfellow Library, first floor, Suite 112.

When is the BCLT open?
The BCLT follows the Hawthorne-Longfellow Library hours of opperation. Peer Services are available during the academic year, Sunday to Thursday from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. 

Who should use the BCLT?
We're open to both students looking for extra academic support or a quiet place to work and faculty
seeking support in their teaching and goal setting.

Who can use the BCLT?
Bowdoin students, faculty, and staff.

Does the BCLT have student employment opportunities?
We are always looking for students who want to work as Front Desk Managers, Writing Assistants, and Q-Tutors (Math and science tutors). For a current list of job openings, please visit Workday.

Yes, we will connect you to the support you need.

Where can I go for one-on-one academic support?
In the BCLT, we offer one-on-one academic support with staff during regular business hours. For peer support with an Academic Peer Mentor, Writing Assistant, or Q-Tutor, students can visit in the evenings.

Do I need a referral to use the resources at the BCLT?
Students and course instructors do not need a referral to use our resources.

What programs does the BCLT offer?
